  • Freciano Lino Cut

    1 in stock

Own your own piece of African art. This stunning, vibrantly-coloured lino cut is by San artist, Freciano.  He was one of the key artists who participated in the !Xun and Khwe San Art and Culture Project, based at Platfontein, near Kimberley, South Africa.   We’re proud to be able to offer a range of art for sale from this project. These beautiful pieces are not only fantastic images, but record the folklore, traditions and emotions of the !Xun and Khwe communities; one of the oldest peoples of southern Africa, who have often been disenfranchised in their own land.

Through art the !Xun and Khwe communities tell their stories: connecting the past and the present in wonderfully vibrant pieces that speak to us all.

Each piece is a limited edition lino cut, signed by the artist and comes professionally-mounted in a black wooden frame

    All sizes are approximate.

    Colour linocuts size: 15” (39cm) x 21.5” (54cm)
